Final Images / Conclusion

I have chosen these images because I feel they best show my experience in New York.

I feel my images are successful because they create a relationship between the viewers imagination and the optical device.

The feedback I received was positive with most people being entertained while looking through the images.

Overall I have enjoyed this brief and would like to continue further with my stereo images. Although I found at first one of the major barriers was using the glasses, I found that by using Binocular glasses that people could adjust themselves, made the experience for them more fun.

In conclusion with my research carried out in my dissertation as to whether 3D photography was needed, was  not just about adding the extra dimension, it was also about creating an experience and an alternative form of viewing images.

This is what I chose to display in the booklet

I chose this image I took In Auschwitz of a prison door because of the way you use this to look into. which is how my images where going to be viewed.

Initially I was going to display my images form New York However, after a discussion with my tutor I decided that my Auschwitz images where better and it also fitted with the image in the booklet.

I feel my work was successful and created quite an interest. People were asking how it worked and were amazed when they looked through the viewer.

Professional Practitioners

During my research I meet and had support from a number of people and groups. The main ones being the stereoscopic society, third dimension society and Barry Aldous.

I got lots of help and support especially from Barry who loaned me lots of books and equipment. He helped me with what software and equipment I would need. Such as Stereo Photo maker.

Stereo Photo Maker is a image editor that allows you to adjust, edit and create different types of stereo images.

This is what I used to edited and make adjustment to my images. In Stereo Photo Maker I can change what type of image I want such as Anaglyphs or side by side stereo images. I would make these adjustments before editing them further with Lightroom or Photoshop.
